So sorry to hear about Ray's passing. We have a long history, from the early flea market days at Barkers, to his volunteer service at the Hospital. Ray was always a gentleman, always had a smile and a good joke to tell.

I felt very sad to hear of Ray's passing. Ray was a very thoughtful and kind man. I met him several years ago, after writing to him about a matter with the VFW, for which he was a spokesman. Ray helped me with my concern and then organized a welcome home gathering for me amongst fellow veterans when I came back to Meriden from London for a brief visit. We had never even met before.
