Raymond V. Hebert Jr., 63, passed away surrounded by his family Friday June 6th at Holyoke Medical Center. He was born in Holyoke, son of Raymond V. Hebert Sr. and Theresa (Boudreau) Hebert. Ray was raised in Chicopee, built his home and raised his family in South Hadley, where he lived the past 38 years. He dedicated his life to working for his family. He found his niche later in life working as a HVAC Technician for FSI Oil and Propane for the last 13 years. He loved hunting and fishing earlier in life but never stopped loving muscle cars (MOPAR OR NOTHING!)
He leaves his wife Barbra (Blasko) Hebert, his son Raymond V. Hebert III and his wife Kelly of South Hadley, his daughter Jennifer Hebert and her husband Aaron of Huntington, his mother Theresa Hebert, his sister Christine Kenney and her husband Christopher of Chicopee and his four loving grandchildren August, Everly, Layla and Jameson, as well as many other nieces, nephews and friends that he considered family as well.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 18th at 9:00 am from the O’Brien Family Funeral Home in South Hadley followed by Mass in St. Rose de Lima Church, Chicopee at 10:00 am. Burial in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday June 17th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to Dana Farber. My sincere condolences to his family. I was not a personal friend of Ray, but he serviced my burner every year and we always chatted. He was a very kind man, who loved his family, and worked very hard I am so sorry for your loss.

Growing up with Ray was such fun he always made me smile and laugh Thanksgiving and Christmas we always played silly games with Chrissy and Ray. We would go for walks because we ate too much food but we had fun . My thoughts and prayers are with everyone. Until we meet again in Heaven Love you Ray Ray!

Ray was our go to service man at FSI! We always requested him he was a terrific person to help us out, with a bonus that I had worked with Barbra! He will be missed dearly.
