Raymond "Coach" Herman

I am saddened to hear of Mr Herman's passing. He instilled a love of running in me, that I will carry forever. I am thankful he was my coach for so many years.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Coach Herman. We extend our sympathy to his family and his friends. He truly was a fine teacher and coach.

We often would see Ray at family get-toghers and Ray and I would often relate to each other many humorous stories involving Moravian College sporting events. We also shared the same orthopedic surgeon for injuries during our college years at Moravian. He will surely be missed and has left many of his students and colleagues with fond memories.

Mr. Herman was a teacher of mine, from '72 to '75 and had a great sense of humor. Great guy and always highly respected and admiired by all the students. So sad to hear this. Rest in Peace, Mr. Herman

Dear Family, I am sorry to see the passing of Coach Herman. I was on his track teams in 1987,1988 . He was always respected for his knowledge of the sport. Great memories. He is in peace now. Stefanie Stoudt. Class of 1988
