Not sure what to say?

Karen,

Sorry I wasn't able to make it to the funeral home on Wednesday. I would have liked to express my condolences in person. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Raymond Hofmann, my Godfather, once took me in to live in his house back when I was a troubled and rebellious teen. He had his own set of rules of course but, he also understood I needed space in which to breathe. May God accept his soul and bless those who must now live on without him.

My deepest condolences go out to you all. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time; he is now rejoined with his daughter. God bless.

My deepest sympathies. I will keep you and yours in my prayers. Please let me know if you ever need anything.

My heartfelt sympathy for your loss.
