Raymond Kenneth Jeffries Sr.

Raymond Kenneth "Pete" Jeffries, Sr., 86, passed away suddenly Friday, March 23, 2012 at Duke Raleigh after months of declining health. He was born August 14, 1925 in Wake County to the late William Jeffries and Mary Stokes Jeffries. He served his country in the United States Navy. Pete retired as a printer with 29 years of service with the News & Observer. Memorial Services: 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 26, 2012 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. The Jeffries family will receive relatives and friends following the service from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Surviving: Wife: Faye McLamb Jeffries Daughter: Ellen J.
