Not sure what to say?

Ray was quite a gentleman and shared in the conversations during meals at the round table where he always sat in the Frederick dining room at Bishop Gadsden. I was honored to first meet Ray last year while visiting my mother after her move to assisted living at BG. Ray was always polite and cordial, visiting with his wife before joining his buddies at the dining table. This winter I reacquainted with Ray in the Cloister wing at BG, where my mother had moved. I will miss him.

Anne, I am so sorry for your loss of Ray. He was such a wonderful man. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Anne
I'm so very sorry to hear about Ray. I've recently moved back to Charleston. Please call me at 843-202-0195 as I would love to chat with you soon.

Ray was a wonderful neighbor when he and Anne lived across the street from us in Country Club II. I will always remember Ray as a happy man who loved to laugh and could tell wonderful stories. Ray stayed active with his mentorship at the Citadel, his involvement with the restoration of Grace Church, and he was also very involved at the Country Club of Charleston. Ray adored his his wife and children. I was blessed to have worked with Ray and Anne with three of their real estate...

Ray was a wonderful man and neighbor! Our family vacationed with the Johnson family after they left Waynesboro. So many funny stories of Ray, including sailing the boat almost into the dock and getting my dads car out of the ditch in his white patent leather shoes and belt. Could not meet a nicer man than Ray Johnson. Much love to the family!

We in the Baker School of Business at The Citadel send our sincerest condolences to Ray's family and friends. Ray was a great supporter of the School of Business, including serving as a member of our Advisory Board and a founding chair of our Mentors Association. We were honored to give him the Leaders of Principle Award and induct him into the Baker School of Business Hall of Fame in 2006. He will be greatly missed by all in the Baker School of Business.
