Not sure what to say?

The thing we remember most about Raymond is when he , Libby came to homecoming at Borden springs, he was so very friendly . When he was talking to you , he gave you his undivided attention , he made you feel very special, important. He loved my Carmel cake I make, even asked for recipe. He was special person

Dixie Offutt and her son Ron Offutt send our sincere condolences to Libby and the Jones family. Jim (passed March 2021) enjoyed 35+ years working at GWJones. Ron recalls spending a weekend at Ray's family cabin and collecting walnuts with his father (Jim) and brother (Jimmy) from the trees at the Jones farm in Hsv. Ray was a generous man and always had a kind word to share. We pray that the family finds solace in knowing the comfort Ray now enjoys.

Our deepest sympathy/empathy to the family and comfort and peace. Ray was a wonderful Christian and a very benevolent leader. I'm a retired Professor of [conservative] sociology from Lipscomb University where Ray served on the Board of the University. I first met Ray some twenty years ago at Jones Valley at the annual Diabetes March with my grandson. Hollis Todd, Ph.D

Ms.Jones- I knew you from Somerby when I took care of you sweet mom! Sending love and condolences your way!

Love and prayers for the family. I attended both Lipscomb and Auburn with Lisa and Mark, and then I attended Mayfair in the early 2000s while living and working in Huntsville. I am back home in the Shoals now, but my mother, grandmother, and numerous other relatives are from Huntsville. So my connections run deep. I love hearing the tremendous part the Jones family played in the history of Huntsville. I was attending Mayfair during the time the new church building was erected in Jones Valley...

Deepest condolences to the family. I have wonderful memories of Mr. Jones sharing his hand made turkey calls with me and showing me exactly how they worked. Rest in peace.

Ray will be greatly missed by myself and all who knew him To know him was to love this Christian man spreading love, charity, kindness to all. He treated all with respect and compassion no matter who he met along his life's journey. He will be missed by many. My prayers are with his family and may God wrap His arms around each and everyone with comfort and peace.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I've known and worked for Peter and Betsy Lowe. met mr.Jones when i worked for the Lowes, he will be truly missed. Rest in peace

Ray was an amazing man and a dear friend. Our prayers go out to help comfort his wonderful family
