Ray was my cousin and his mother Gertrude was my mothers sister, Edith Downey, who was married to Walter Kirsch who was Alcuins brother. I visited Ray and Emma when I was in Sheffield Lake for my sister Mary Ann's funeral two 2years ago. It was such a joy to see them both. They were wonderful people. My thoughts are with your family.
