I remember Mr Koerper picking me up off of the pavement after I crashed my bike when I was a little girl in front of his house. He brushed me off and asked me if I was OK. Everytime, I went past the house, we would always shout and wave at each other. To me he is a kind and gentle man and when I was litte, he was one of my Heros.
