Newmarket- Raymond LeBeau, age 65. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a caring father, adoring grandfather and treasured friend. Surrounded by his family, Ray passed away at Exeter Hospital on Friday, July 4, 2003, following a spirited battle with cancer.
He was born Feb. 12, 1938,in the Town of Brentwood, N.H., to the late Claudio and Clarisse (Archambeault) LeBeau. He attended St. Mary's and Newmarket High School. Ray served in the U.S. Army, from 1956-59, and was stationed in Germany. He was a machinist and attained the rank of SP4.
He was highly skilled in the building trades and retired from Turcotte's Housing Service several years ago.
Ray will be remembered for his mischievous nature and sense of humor. He will always be in our minds and forever in our hearts.
Ray is survived by his daughter and her husband, Laurie and Chris Frysalis of Newfields; his son and his wife, Paul and Colleen LeBeau of Newmarket; three grandsons, Ryan and Matthew Frysalis, and Benjamin LeBeau; three sisters, Mrs. Willis (Theresa) Mailhot of Epping, Mrs. George (Doris) Chapman of Newmarket and Mrs. Michael (Yvonne) Cassell of Milo, Me.; his aunt and uncle, Armand and Thelma Lebeau of Lee; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by two brothers, William LeBeau and Wilfred "Pete" LeBeau and twin granddaughters, Catherine and Elizabeth LeBeau.
We would like to thank the staff of the Exeter Hospital and the Visiting Nurses Association for their compassion and support.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter Street, Newmarket. The Sons of the American Legion will conduct a service at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral Home.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery, Newmarket.
