Not sure what to say?

I first met Ray in 1969 and enjoyed his friendship ever since. Ray was a very professional pilot and honorable man. He will be greatly missed. May God comfort his family and friends in this great loss. Jerry Bowden

Ray was a rare person. He had a persona that was instantly likeable, and at the same time was a true professional pilot. Those who flew with him appreciated his talent for inspiring confidence so they could perform at their best. May God bless Ray and comfort his family.

Chief and family, I am sorry for your loss. May God's blessings be upon you and your family at this time of sorrow.

Ray was a good friend. I always looked forward to flying with Ray. He gave my son his Private check ride. He was an aviation professional of the highest standards. He will be missed.

To Ray's family may the peace that passes all understanding be with you during this time.

Ray was not only a legend in aviation, he was a passionate teacher and mentor. I expected my checkride to be awful, but instead, it was comfortable and enjoyable day. Ray and I became good friends after that and he taught me so much. He was a terrific guy. My prayers go out to his family and friends. He will be missed.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

To the Ledbetter family, Ray gave me several checkrides as a pilot in Tuscaloosa, he was a wonderful man, i pray that he is with the angels in heaven..Donald Wood Tuscaloosa
