Not sure what to say?

I was sorting through a box of old cards and letters that I have saved and came across a letter from Prof. LeGrand about the passing of Mrs. LeGrand. I met them while attending John Carroll University through their son, David, a close college friend. We spent several dinners in their home in Ohio drinking Prof. LeGrand's homemade wine, talking, and laughing. They were so kind and so welcoming. We stayed in touch until Mrs. LeGrand's passing. Raymond Legrand war mein Urgrocousin. meine Urgromutter Margarethe Legrand war die Schwester seines Urgrovaters Leonhard Legrand aus Sohren im Hunsrück/ Germany.

As the years went by, I enjoyed his perspective and many interesting Facebook posts. I hope he has joyfully reunited with his Joan.

I learned many other useful classroom techniques from his courses over the years. I give you my deepest sympathy in your loss. I am...
