Not sure what to say?

Ray was the most dynamic and inspiring educator I ever met. And he was a wonderful friend.

Absolutely the best English teacher I remember him fondly

Dr. Lemley was the best professor I ever had. I often quote him, and attribute most of my "good J" to his mentoring.

Wonderful man

Dr. Lemley was my professor at NAU in the late 1980s, leading my colleagues and me in doctoral work to further our skills in school administration. Ray Lemley was an incredible individual. Bright. likable, take charge risk taking-man of action. Lots to love. I great man to work for and with you always had the sense that he appreciates your efforts.
He affected thousands as a teacher, administrator, and friend.
He will be sorely missed.
Best,
Charlie Cocores
