Not sure what to say?

My family grew up across the street from the Lentz family in Brooklyn Park. Tony and I were the same age and childhood friends. I remember Ray and Carol well. I came across Ray's obituary today as I'm reminiscing on those simpler times in life. What I would give to be running around the neighborhood with my childhood friends while Ray and my father had their evening driveway chats. Tony, I'm sorry for your loss. I know all these years later, not a day goes by that you don't miss your...

Think of your parents often. They were some of our favorite friends.
Ray was one of my favorite partners to play 500 cards with!! He also kept me laughing!! I remember when you guys moved in their Brooklyn Park home. I never forgot he told me , "I told Carol we didnt need a Dining Room...who needs all that dusting!! " Dorothy Pierret

When it was said during the service that if Ray didn't have your attention, he'd come up with a good one-liner to get it, that was right on! Those funny one-liners will always make me laugh as I remember my "dad's favorite uncle." I know he and Carol are together again in heaven and trust that she will keep him in line there. Love and prayers to the family, Katie

My sympathies go out to Ray's family. I have many memories of Ray growing up in Crystal. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Tony, Andy and Danny: There will never be another Ray! He always provided a laugh at the Lake! We also miss your Mother. My favorite picture of Ray was with the skull cap on.

My children and I were saddened to hear about Ray's death following your mother's death. My prayers are with you boys and your families at this time and in the days to come. I regret that I was unble to attend the ceremony as was out of town, but my thoughts and prayers were with you for God to give you solace, strength and wisdom in dealing with the loss in the future. Stay close to each other and form a new family curtain. God bless all of you.

We are so sorry to hear your news.
We enjoyed playing cards for many years with Ray and Carol. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Rich and Dorothy Pierret

Tony, Andy, and Danny,
Memories of your dad will bring smiles to so many. He was one of a kind. Although I wasn't with my mom, aunts, uncles, and cousins on Sunday at Deb and Spencer's, I have heard only really, really special stories of that day. Your dad was in great form and brought laughs to all. He was a special member of the extended Meline family. He will be missed. May you find comfort in the memories of your time with him in the difficult days ahead.
Fondly,
Darla...

We
were neighbors of Carol and Rays for 16 years. We will never forget our
"driveway" conversations with Ray or how he would give his special
knock at our door when he came to visit. He was always so great with
our boys, Ben and Max. I really believe in his eyes they could do no
wrong - kind of like a grandparent. Our family will miss Ray and all of
his stories. Jason, Nancy, Ben and Max Martinez
