My sympathies to the Luhnow Family. I knew Ray and Ruth at Colonial Presbyterian where they were good friends with my parents, Glen and Martha Stetson. If I'm correct, Ruth and my Mom were in the same 'Church Circle' and Ray and my Dad might have been in the same WWII Veterans group that got together on a regular basis for lunch. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Ray and I met working for the Kansas City United Way in the 1980s. We became fast friends, sharing golf outings, dining with wives and enjoying discussions on a wide range of subjects. Following Ruth's death and Ray's move to Idaho, we kept in touch by phone and Christmas notes. Ray was a wonderful man, well described in this obituary. My condolences to the family.

Ray and Ruth were such wonderful neighbors -- my parents were so fond of them and I remember your parents being always very kind and friendly to my siblings and me, down the Meadow Lane block. My condolences to all of you...
