Not sure what to say?

I remember Mr. Lutgert and his family. I worked at Linville Ridge C C. I remember him having friends for dinner at the club one night and his wife Beverly mentioned how handsome he looked in his new shirt. One of his guests asks why he didn't pick up two so he could have one. Raymond he shot said he would but, they didn't have the guy's belly size. I started laughing and Mr. Lutgert said what are laughing at with a slight grin I said nothing - I am just pouring water for your guest.

My best memories from my childhood were visiting the beautiful home on the Gulf with my grandmother, Carol McDonald. How lucky of a child was I to spend the summer at Mr. Lutgert's home? He was a very nice man, but worked so much I never saw him around that much, but I never did forget him. Blessings from me to the family at this time. Though I never met Scott, my grandmother always told me stories about him, and he held a special place in her heart, and my grandmother loved working for...

Dear Beverly and Scott,

I am deeply sorry to hear about Ray's death. What wonderful life he had and what great memories you all will hold in your hearts forever. I can truly feel your loss because I lost my beloved Jerry on November 14 of 2009. Jerry would have been the first to say "He had a good life" and that is what consoles me because Jerry did also. Thank you for all the wonderful memories you and Ray have given to me.

Love, Suell Kluck

Mrs. Lutgert, I am truly sorry to hear about Mr. Lutgert's passing. It was a pleasure working with both of you and I greatly enjoyed and learned from our many experiences together. I wish the best for you and please let me know if I can ever do anything to help. Thinking of you with best regards, Michael Martiss

To the Lutgerts our deepest sympathy from Fond du Lac Wisconsin. The Stayers also moved to Naples in the 1960's and could not believe someone was developing land "way out " in the boonies.
What a visionary he was.....and of course now as sons we try to only keep up if we can. to our Fathers

You are in our thoughts and prayers here in Wisconsin and as you know the word spread quickly in our far away city that Raymond Lutgert had passed. Do you think he even realized...

Beverly, Scott, and to all the Lutgert family. Ray's foot prints will leave a lasting impression on Naples. He was a man who came to Naples to do well, and he did a great deal of good for the community. Ray was a man with great vision and his accomplishments are part of Naples' history. The baton is now passed to Scott to carry on, who in his own right has accomplished great deeds. Dennis and I feel honored to know the Lutgert family and to have witnessed their legacy grow since 1970 when...
