I wish to express my deepest sympathy to Rosie and Ray's family. Maggs was my football coach, teacher and later a colleague at Gardena High School. I was fortuneate to return to Gardena as a teacher and coach and he was one of the reasons why I wanted to become a coach. I had the priviledge of having him serve as my assistant football coach in 1978-79, winning the championship in 79. I have so many wonderful memories and his spirit is with me everyday.
