Not sure what to say?

Ray was Bernie's supervisor and colleague at American electric Power for many years. Ray provided invaluable mentoring for Bernie during his career as well as friendship for both of us.

Dear Jean and Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss. Ray made many contributions to the electric power industry both nationally and internationally. The naming of the AEP 765-kV station was quite fitting and particularly because he knew of the naming. I enjoyed working with Ray on the NERC Engineering Committee, and he was my mentor for CIGRE. I shall always remember and value our 35-year professional association and friendship. May your memories of Ray bring you comfort.

Ray was a great professional and a good guy with a winderful sense of humor. He will be missed greatly.

Ray was one of the true leaders in our industry. I learned much from him during my time representing PJM and Delmarva Power on the NERC Engineering Committee.

Dearest Jean and family; How can our words convey to you our grief and loss at Ray's untimely death.
Know that our prayers are with all of you now and in the days ahead. May God's peace and grace fill your heart and comfort you now knowing that Ray has returned to the one who created him. With deepest love,
Mike and Yvette

Ray's passing brings back lots of memories for me as he hired me into my first full-time job as a young engineer. We worked closely together as he mentored me and helped shape my thinking. My career was so much more enriched by having touched base with him.

Jean:
The world has lost a good man. I served on ECAR and NERC committees with Ray and although having differing opinions at times, Ray was always a fair and honest man.
Ann and I will remember our dinner together in Baniff.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Barry and Ann Miller (Ohio Edison)

Jo and family: My love and prayers are with you as you celebrate the beauty and courage of your dad's life. He blessed you with so very much during his life. His gift's will comfort you always.
Love,
Sandi

Ray was such an inspiration for a young engineer working in organizations such as EPRI and NERC. His energy will be missed, his legacy will continue.

I wish to provide my condolences and sympathies to Ray's family. It was their love, that fortified and strengthen the man we all knew.
