Not sure what to say?

I was sorry to hear that cousin Raymond has passed away. I always remember him being in good humor whenever we met. We shared a passion for guns, hunting, and fishing. Whenever we met we would share stories of our latest hunting trips. My sympathies and my mothers [his aunt Laura] sympathies go out to his family. I would like to attend his memorial service, but I will be in Canada that week [on a hunting trip] I'm sure Raymond would understand !

I was sorry to hear that cousin Raymond has passed away. I remember him as always being in good humor whenever we met. We shared a passion for guns, hunting, and fishing. Whenever we met we would compare stories of our latest hunting trips. My sympathies and my mothers [his aunt Laura] sympathies go out to his family. I would like to come to his memorial service but I will be in Canada that week [on a hunting trip] so I can't make it. I'm sure Raymond would understand !

I was saddened to hear of cousin Raymond's passing. To his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as to his surviving siblings, Elting Markle and Peggy Markle Traver I extend my deepest condolences.

Raymond was the real deal! He told it exactly as he saw it and did not shy away from freely expressing an opinion. Above all, he was a good man who will be sadly missed by so many.

I still smile when I remember his telephone calls to my late husband, Pete who hunted...

Raymond was quite a guy, good friend and a great hunter.. I'll miss seeing him in the Novembers to come...

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious.
