Raymond Massie

Raymond Wilburn Massie, 68 of Laurelville, OH passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Hocking Valley Hospital in Logan, OH. The Pedro, OH native was born September 29, 1944 the son of the late Wilbur and Eloise Noel Massie. Mr. Massie attended Waterloo schools and was owner and operator of Massie Brothers Construction and Rain Man Carwash. He was of the baptist faith. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by: a son-in-law: Bill Cramblit a grandson: Max Cramblit a sister-in-law: Debbie Massie He is survived by: two daughters: Neva Cramblit and Rae Ann Massie and her life partner Nikki Romine all of Laurelville, OH life long friend and mother to his children: Dorothy Massie of Laurelville, OH a brother: Bill Massie of Logan, OH four aunts: Neva Self of Ironton, Jessie Mae Noel of Pedro, Shirley Adkins of Wooster, OH, and Roberta Noel of Ohio two step grandchildren: Levi Cramblit and Lacey Cramblit both of Chillicothe, OH companion: Kathy Ricketts of Sugar Grove, OH the love of his life, his Maltese "Baby" he will be deeply missed by many cousins and friends A memorial service will be 6:00PM Wednesday, July 25, 2013 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, OH with Rev. Don Delawder officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home. At the family's request they would like everyone that is coming to the service to bring and share a favorite memory of Raymond. There will be a visitation in the Hocking Hills area Monday July 29, 2013 at South Perry Church from 5:00pm-7:00PM.
