Please accept my condolences at the loss of your father Ray Matte.My memories of him go back about 45 years to the days when I was a scout in Troop 7 at Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Parish.Mr. Matte gave up many of his weekends to accompany the troop on outings and camping trips.He also volunteered his evenings to assist at the troop meetings every month.I recall sitting with him on a sunny day in his backyard back in 1960-1961,while he tested me on my Morse Code for my First Class Badge. Ray was a joy to be around we will all miss him!!!

I was saddened to learn that Mr. Matte had passed away. I remember him as a very kind, generous person and a great example to the Boy Scouts in Troop 7. My deepest sympathy to all of you during this difficult time.

I was saddened to read about the passing of Ray Matte. Growing up next door, Ray always conducted himself with dignity and class. I am away on business, but Ray and the Matte family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Please accept my condolences on the occaision of Ray's passing. He was a good and faithful servant who truly lived the Vincentian spirit in so many ways. Be assured of my prayers for the repose of his soul and for your consolation
