Taunton- Raymond L. Maynard, Jr., 91, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, at The Arbors of Taunton.  A life time resident of Chicopee, until moving to Taunton MA, Ray was the son of the late Raymond L. (Rogers) Maynard, and by his son, Keith R. Maynard and his wife Lucy, of North Dighton, MA.  A graveside service for Ray will be held at 11a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, 600 Fuller Road, in Chicopee.  Corridan Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the arrangements.  www.CorridanFuneral.com

Not sure what to say?

I worked with Ray at The Arbors of Taunton. I asked him many questions about love, life, and the world in general. He gave me advice and shared his stories. He told me his experiences with his “princess” the highs and the lows. I learned a lot from him and will not forget the lessons I learned from him. His marriage and never ending love he had for his wife is admirable and something many people do not get to experience. My condolences to the people who knew and loved Ray.

I was so sorry to hear of Ray's passing. I worked with him at Steiger's and always looked forward to what he was wearing and his sense of humor. He was always nice and willing to help us younger buyers. My sincere sympathies to Shirley and his family. He was a great guy!

Ray was my mentor and confidant and I am forever grateful. He was a true gentleman with impeccable style and wit. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Lynn Thomas

Ray was a one of a kind. Always smiling , ready with a quick joke. It was a pleasure working with him at Steiger's

Ray was the dearest person at Steiger's. He was kind to all of us coming up behind him and I learned so much from him.
My condolences to all who loved him.

My condolences to Ray's family and friends. I will always carry with me fond memories of Ray's kind demeanor and gentle humor.
