Not sure what to say?

Ray and my husband Steve Henley were friends and went to Reynolds High School in Winston together. I got to know Ray and his first wife Sharon very well at that time. I am sorry to hear this news.

We love you guys very much. Ray was a special person. The lesson he taught me growing up are countless. I cannot tell ou how lucky we were to have you both as neighbors and as friends. They say that a person lives as long as people talk and tell stories about them -- Ray will live on in all of the great stories and memories we have of him. We Love you and are here for you, always!

Charlie, I want you and your family to know how very sorry I am to hear of Ray's passing. It broke my heart to hear he had to fight that cancer! Our family knows all about that! I used to work with Ray, starting out in the Storeroom, then moving to SPD. I think the name changed after I left due to health problems. Ray was a one of my best friends at work and he kept me laughing! I always knew about you and the boys. He loved you all so very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I´m so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Although I have not seen him since the Sterling St and Howard st days, he was a great man. I know that he loved his family
