My prayers go out to the family of Pastor McDonald and the Seventh Avenue Baptist Church. On the occasions that I had the opportunities to visit at Seventh Avenue, Rev. McDonald, and the church family always made me feel at home. He was a great speaker of God’s word that held ones interest.
God has called home one of His children that will truly be missed by the family and friends he left behind.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding....

My heart goes out to the family of Rev. McDonald. I was a member and baptized at 7th Avenue Missionary in the early 80s. I was only 9 then and as an adult now, I can still hear and feel the passion in his sermons and how he brought joy to the congregation! Til this day, I've never seen another person get on the pulpit (and walk through the church) the way he did! Makes me SMILE! He will never be forgotten.
