McHUGH, Raymond Born in Bendigo, 12th March, 1956, died in Brisbane, 7th September, 2012. Son of Jack and Joyce, Husband to his darling Pooh (Wendy), Father of Acacia and Elijh, Brother and Brother-in-law of Elizabeth and Kedron, Anthony and Allison, and "Dad" to his faithful and crazy dog Manny. Ray passed away politely on Friday night, coming 2nd in his brave and true battle with cancer, finally comfortable and asleep but still loving us all. Wendy would like to invite Family, Friends and Colleagues to a Celebration of Ray's Life and their life together, at 9 a.m., on Sunday, 16th September, on the foreshore at Sandgate, the corner of Cliff Street and Flinders Parade, where they were married nearly 9 years ago. Please bring your own champagne flute, to salute Ray in a grand toast, and chair or pillow. Good stories, fine laughs and best wishes are all welcome!

I was wondering what had happened to my old friend Ray. We lost contact 35 years ago, so I googled his name and found this obituary. I am sorry to hear that he died. We had a lot of interesting times together. My kindest regards to his family. I remember Anthony and Liz well, and held baby Acacia shortly after she was born.
