Raymond Frederick Merrill

I just found out today that Ray died. He and I met in 1975 when he, Joan, my friend Penny and I met on an interline trip to Italy. We all became fast friends and kept loosely in touch for all these many years. A year and a half ago my husband and I visited Ray in Ocala where he and I had a wonderful time reminiscing. I'm the last of our little Italian group and will miss knowing Ray is there to chuckle with about the ten days of bonding and fun we all had together.

Ray was my father's best friend and partner in crime for many years. Both Joan and Ray played an important role in my parents lives as well as his family and all who knew him. He was loved by all and will be missed by many. I know my wife and I will.
