My grandfather who would work all day at Scott paper company then drive all the way to dawes rd in west mobile to take me to a boy scout meeting, baseball practice, back home and then drive back to Saraland having to work the next day. He never once made me feel like he had anywhere or anything better to do than spend time with me. I'll never forget him and I'll never stop trying to be a man like him.

There will never be a single second when I dont think about you. I love you so much and I hope I can make you proud the rest of my life. You are the best man I ever and will ever know.

Buddy Miller was the magical youngster of our neighborhood. He would hang out with younger kids as easily as those his own age. I, being almost 4 years his junior and a close neighbor to his Virginia St. home, marvelled at his talents and humor. Creative, witty, daring, adventuresome, and kind, Buddy stood our kid's world on it's head. He had a Press-Register paper route, a green and white bike, he sold Cloverine Brand Salve door to door for pocket change, and (later)owned a Model A...

You will be missed.
