MITCHELL, Raymond F. Of Grand Blanc, age 58, died Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at University Hospitals in Ann Arbor. Funeral service will be held 7pm Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Per Raymond's wishes, cremation will take place following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Visitation 3:30pm-8pm Friday and 6pm Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Raymond was born in Henderson, Tennessee on March 6, 1956, son of the late Raymond and Rena (Holland) Mitchell. Surviving are wife, Debbie; dogs, Bella and Zoe. 2 children, Erika (Eric) Payea and Philip Mitchell (Meghan McBride); grandchildren, Chelsea, Emma, and Olivia; brothers, Ricky and Tracy Mitchell; sisters, Cyndi Mitchell, Tammi (James) Bragg and Paula (Jim) Rowe; and many nieces and nephews. Hi, Almost everyone in our family knew Ray since his family moved into the house on Schumacher Ave. He was a lot like another brother over the years and we'll miss him. God bless you all.

I am so sorry for your loss, I have been wondering a lot about Ray lately and wonder how he was doing. Ray was a sweet and gentle soul and working with him at McLaren was a pleasure. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
