Not sure what to say?

I still think about this man and still can't believe he's sleep. My kids and I were just looking at picture of him Sunday and then this morning received and email reminder. I will ware his smile all day to block the devil! We will always miss Ray-Ray!

To The Mitchell Family! When I heard the news of Ray's passing, I was shocked & saddened by it! But, one thing I know is, He Is with The Lord! I remember classes with him @ VSU. He would always make you laugh! He will truly be missed! May God continue to bless you All! With His Love & Strength! :-)

To the Mitchell family,
I met Ray over 20 years ago when I started working with his mother at Virginia State University. Ray was such a humble and respectable young man. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Please cherish the memories and keep them alive.

To Tia and the extended Mitchell Family:
It is a rare experience to reflect upon years of challenges and not be able to identify a single negative interaction with a man. We'll miss a laugh that never lost it's child-like joy. God loves you, and so do we. Goodbye and see you soon Brother RayRay.

To The Mitchell Family

My prayers for comfort and strength are with you during your time of sadness.

Praying for comfort for your loved ones and friends at this difficult time. May God give you the strength you need for today and in the days to come.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Raymond.I know he must have suffered much in the past several months. My prayers and thoughts are with the family in this time of grief.

I am at a loss for words. Raymond was one of the funniest, sincerest, sweetest people I have ever met. From high school to college, Raymond remained the same person; always speaking when we saw each on the yard, giving a hug, a smile. I don't understand why Raymond was taken from us so soon, we all may never understand, but one thing is certain; God certainly has one of the best angels on his team now. Enjoy paradise now Raymond! My sincerest condolences to his wife, Tia, his son and his...

I knew Ray at State. I remember his smile and easy going attitude well. I know he touched so many hearts in his life and I thank God I had the pleasure of calling him a friend. It is with a heavy heart that i pass my condolences to the Mitchell Family. Stay strong.
