Not sure what to say?

I thought about Ray the other day. Ray was a friend and co-worker of my mother's at Alcoa and was always so kind to me as boy. He frequently came by and did odd jobs around my family's house that we did not know how to do. Ray was always such a nice man with a sweet soul. I am lucky to have known him and I know Mom valued his friendship over the many years she had the privilege to know him.

I'm visiting Bob Kingsley in New York and we are both so very saddened to hear about the passing of your Mom and Dad. We think of you often and will now remember you, your parents and your family in our prayers.

To the Mizgorski Family:
I am so very saddened by the passing of Ray and his wife, Frances. I knew Ray from my working at Alcoa for approximately 25 years. He was SO special to me, and he was one of the BEST people I have EVER met in my entire life. He was so kind and generous, full of laughs, love and life! Even after he retired from Alcoa, I'd get a call from the Alcoa security guard letting me know that Ray was on his way up to my cubicle to visit, and I always gave him a huge hug...

I was deeply saddened when I was at noon mass at St. Sebastian's on Tuesday, 18 Jannuary. It was there that I realized that a dear ice skating buddy has passed. I met Ray when I was 23 around 1973 at North Park's Ice Skating Rink. He saw my husband and me struggling on rental skates and suggested we should buy our own. We did. Ray coached my husband and myself on ice skating skills. My husband lost his fondness for the sport, but I continued. Ray was always eager to give help. He was always...

Ken and Tom,

Our deepest sympathies are with you. Your parents were always such a joy to be around while growing up as an adolescent. God bless.

Dear Tom and Ken,

I cannot count how many times I would call your Dad throughout the years for help with all the things that went wrong in the house. Ray was always there, and always made it right.

Will you ever forget the stairs to the attic that wouldn't come down? (That took three days to fix.)

Will you ever forget the countless stories of our Alcoa adventures together that we rehashed over and over again? (Oh Dad, not that story again.) I know...

Dear Tom & Ken,

I was deeply sadden to hear of the loss of your parents. I have known Ray for many, many years as our loveable carpenter at Alcoa. No matter the job, Ray would come by with that wonderful smile and help anyone in need. Ray was very charming and had an unique way of making everyone feel special! My sincere sympathy. May God Bless You.

Sincerely yours,

Donna

Tom and Ken,
May you hold great memories of your parents in your heart. They will both be sadly missed by many friends. I will never forget the laughs with your Dad and all his jokes. I can't even express how I feel for the both of you right now in this difficult time. Remember all your friends are here to give you strength to get through this. My deepest sympathy,
