Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

To Tim and the rest of the Novotny family,

My deepest sympathies and condolences during this most difficult time. I know the saddness that you are feeling, however know that your life has been enriched and blessed from Ray. May a part of him be with you every day.

My best to you and your family always.

I only know Ray via his son Tim and if that man is anything like his son he was a Great Man. I know he loved the race track, the horses and the excitement. May he enjoy it even more from now on.
