Not sure what to say?

Forever, the coolest guy in the room.

I taught art to two of Ray´s sons many years ago at Rankin Elementary in Akron. I just learned of Ray´s passing. My best to the boys - sincere condolences.

So sad to learn of Ray's passing. He was a good friend for years who we saw often when we lived in Venice and later when we moved to Malibu. He may have been the kindest man I ever knew. Ray and a current girlfriend attended our wedding in Santa Monica in 1985 and we regularly got together with him until we moved to Alaska. We are reminded of Ray every day by the 12 Packard watercolors that adorn our walls. RIP, Ray. John and Blanca

Rest In Peace dear friend. I am just finding out of your passing. I will mourn your passing and we will reunite in heaven. My deepest condolences to your entire family. You will be missed.

Gentle, learned... and honest.

My sincere condolences. Ray readily accepted me into the family, and made me feel at home on the few visits Jack and I made to Akron. I enjoyed meeting and talking with him and regret not getting to know him better. We treasure the painting Ray gifted us. It is a dear and tangible memory of him.

Phenomenal artist and a charasmatic icon of Highland Square... good freind of my mother’s ( Christine Horner/ Billings a fellow artist who greatly admired his work. I will never forget Packard Gallery. My condolences to Vincent Raynard and Damon as well as his wife and grandchildren!
