Not sure what to say?

Miss you Dad

I remember while at Tollgate high school we all knew him as Mr. P. He was the most kindest, gentlest person I know. He always had a smile and a kind word, something that is missing in in this Society today. I have such vivid memories of Mr Pendergast on how he treated every student as his family member. I was blessed to have known him. For all those who have come to know him, carry his kindness and caring ways in us! God bless his family.

Ray never forgot his many friendships throughout his 87 wonderful years in Cranston. His smile and quick wit, along with athletic stories of years past always brought a chuckle to those of us who knew him.

Sending my love and sympathy to the entire Pendergast Family...It is wonderful to read such heartfely words about Ray. My Dad( Paul Drumm Jr) ,and Ray were first cousins. His Mother, Lillian ,and my grandmother, Sarah (Sadie), were sisters and very close.Sadly, we lost touch with the family over the years . I just wanted to send my sympathy to you all.

To the Pendergast family,

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Mr. Pendergast. I am so sorry for your loss. What a wonderful legacy he leaves in his family and the students he taught. May happy memories help to carry you through this sad time.

Will always remember you Mr P. And you are still in the yearbooks. I'll never forget when you would always tell me to stop cutting trought the yard!!!!! Rememeber the early days when the bottom of Ashwood flooded and we'd have to part the cars on Spooner and walk up Ashwood!!!! May God be with you. You will be in some good company up there. My Dad is there too. Sending prayers and thought to the whole family. Very sorry for your loss.

Ray, my thoughts & prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

Dear Family,

Please know the entire Bishop Hendricken Community shares in your loss.

RIP... Mr. P Was always there for the students at Tollgate High. He was the kindest gentlest man I have known with the biggest Heart for the students at Tollgate. Always a kind word and inspiration for all us who attended Tollgate. You will always be remembered and sadly missed.
