Not sure what to say?

As a cousin of Carol's I've known her all my life. Both Ray and Carol were perfect for each other. They knew each other since she was 14. I will always remember how he bragged about her and was sooo proud of her. My heart aches for Carol as she has lost a part of herself.
He helped her to get out of her shyness. An excellent father, husband, and friend, he will truly be missed...

I can still see Mr. Pendolino's laughing face at my wedding nearly three years ago, and hear his calming voice in the background -- what a sweet and kind spirit!

Ray Pendolino around the age of 15

Ray was my father. I consider myself fortunate to have been raised by him. My dad was an excellent role model for me. Although he did smoke when he was younger, he stopped by the time I was born. I am a non smoker too. The occasional bottle of wine in our home would go unopened for years and usually discarded while it was still half full. Raymond Pendolino was a wonderful man. We will really miss him. Our prayers go out to his family.

Raymond Pendolino was a man of great strength and character. Everyone who knew him loved him. He was always loving and kind and loved to have fun. He welcomed me into his family with open arms; one couldn't have asked for a better father-in-law. I will miss him very much, and I know his grandchildren will too.

He was a dear brother and wonderful uncle. Anyone who met him liked him instantly. A very kind and gentle soul that touched our hearts deeply. Our lives are richer and better for having you in them Ray, and we will miss you so very much. Love, Jackie and Bryan

Dear Jackie,
If you aren't the same person that worked at Travelers in the early 70's,and who's house I used to visit on Deerfield in N.O., I'm sorry for contacting you this way. I was saddened to read of your brother's passing - I know how painful it is as I buried my dad last Monday. Whenever I close my eyes I see my dad's smiling face as I'm sure you will hold the memories of your brother close to your heart. May God watch over you and your family. Louise (Quallich) Pilz
