Raymond T. Radziewicz Sr. of Clifton, N.J., formerly of Orange, N.J., passed away on Dec. 14, 2012, at the age of 77. Visiting will be held in Paul Ippolito Memorial, 252-256 Henry St., Orange, on Tuesday, Dec. 18, from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 19, beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, West Orange at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, N.J. Mr. Radziewicz was born in the Bronx, N.Y., and was a resident of Orange for 40 years before settling in Clifton five years ago. He was employed as a signal foreman for N.J. Transit Rail in Newark, N.J., where he worked for 45 years before retiring in 2003. Following high school graduation, he served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy and was discharged in 1964. He was a longtime, active member of the Belleville Elks Lodge. Raymond was the beloved husband of the late Theresa Radziewicz (nee Bongiorno); loving father of Steven, Raymond Jr., Doreen and Karen Radziewicz of Clifton, N.J., and Jean Radziewicz of Orange, N.J.; dear brother of Margaret Ferris of Long Island, N.Y., Frank of Hazlet, N.J., William of Whiting, N.J., Helen Radziewicz of Long Island, N.Y., Partricia Burrell of Connecticut, Thomas of Long Island, N.Y., and the late Catherine Fischedick; cherished grandfather of Kevin, Curtis, Angelina and Ethan.
