My condolences to the Ray Reed family. Professor Reed was Dean of the College of Architecture at Texas A&M in which I was hired in 1977. I have everything good to say about the rewards I've enjoyed in the College in the years that Ray was Dean. I'm very glad to have been a part of the College of Architecture until my retirement in 2000. I'll always look back fondly with gratitude on those years.

Ray was a good friend at ISU where I met him in 1971 and later TAMU. He had strong knowledge and care for architecture which made him a good dean of the two professional programs. He will be missed.
