Not sure what to say?

Ray was such a kind man who always had a smile on his face. Go Canes. He will be missed dearly by his family and all who knew him.

Ray was such a kind man and always had a smile on his face. I know that his family will miss him dearly, as will all who knew him.

Margot & John

Hi, My name is Margot. I used to take care of Ray and Dot when they came in to eat at the Bonefish Grill in Tampa. They were always a delight and I loved talking with them about their lives and most importantly God. This saddened my husband and I when we heard of Ray's passing. He actually passed on the same day as my own father. Anyways, my thoughts and prayers are with Dot and the rest of the family. My God watch over you and bring peace and comfort in this difficult time. It is soothing to...

Such a sweet, gentle soul...Dot and Family, I know you're missing him, but it makes me smile to know he's with my Dad!
LOVE you,
Debra Cantin

Dear Dot, Sue, Tom and family,
May God surround you in comfort and peace in the secure belief that your wonderful Husband and Dad is in God's everlasting care. He was a wonderful man and role model, and one of my father's best friends. I can hear the sound of his hearty laugh and will always remember the sincerity of his deep faith. I know he will be deeply missed by all who were privileged to know him.
My husband Doug and I send you our sincere condolences.

"Uncle Ray" was very warm and loving to the Moder family. I am a daughter-in-law to one of the Moder children who considered Ray like an uncle since Florence and Dot were like sisters. I feel honored to have gotten to know him and grateful we were able to visit a few times when Dr. Joe Moder was living in the Tampa area. HIGH quality is what I think of Ray's character. He and Dot made a nice fuss over Allison, Florence's granddaughter. We rest in the fact that Ray is with Jesus and know...

“A Perfect Gentleman”

In this very busy world of ours, we met many, many people. As we move at times, from place to place, we meet those who will often become close to us.
One of those that my husband, Lou, and I met was Ray Risavy. He and his special wife, Dot became dear friends.
Ray was a man who could always be counted upon. No matter what the situation called for, he would put his utmost into it.
One would never hear anything that was negative from him. He was a man of...
