Ray was consistently fun, approachable, and considerate. I always looked forward to working tennis tournaments with him. He was a true gentleman. My condolences to the family.

Ray was truly a kind and gentle spirit and a good friend. Cindy, Adam, Tom, we are so very sorry for your loss and pray that you are feeling God's comfort by the many lives Ray touched in this world, and the memories he left behind.

From the daily lunch table, with a dose of humor and wisdom and a PB&J in hand, Ray taught me just a tremendous amount of good. An inspiration, a light every day, a man all were privileged and happy to call friend. May I live as you did, Ray. Godspeed and His blessings to your family.

A life well-lived, a man well-loved. Everyone thinks of Coach Roche, smiles, and reflects upon our great fortune to have know him. Our thoughts are with Cindy and family during this difficult time.

Our condolences to Cindy, Adam, Tom, and all of the family. Ray Roche was a wonderful man and a great friend. We will all miss him and are better people for knowing Ray. We have all been blessed to have Ray in our lives and I just thank God for our time with him. God bless you Ray.

What a gift Ray was to all who knew him. A true family man - gentle and compassionate with a wonderful sense of humor - he dearly loved Cindy, the boys, and their families. He extended that same generous spirit to his friends and students. I grieve and miss him, and I am so grateful he was part of my life. Godspeed, Ray.

Coach I will miss you. I still remember the days when I played for you and the countless trips we took in your family van what a hoot! It was such an awesome time working with you at Bowie as a student and then as a colleague and mostly important as a friend.

Coach Roche was such a kind and caring person. I enjoyed talking to him at school or near the tennis courts because he was always so genuine about anything he talked about. We had respect for each other and both knew that we were friends. Thank you Ray for the love you had for your students in the classroom and on the courts. Coach was truly an example of what a teacher really should be like. To the Roche family, my deepest condolences and may The Lord keep all of you close by His side and...
