Raymond Roderick Raymond Earl Roderick, 81, of Grafton, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Grafton City Hospital. He was born in Fairmont on February 12, 1 935 the son of the late Namen and Goldie Pearl (Little) Roderick. Raymond worked in the Housekeeping Department of Fairmont General Hospital for over 29 years. He was a good Christian Man and a member of the First Baptist Church of Grafton. His favorite pastime was deer hunting. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Earlene Esther (Franks) Roderick; three step sons Dennis Williams of Boothsville, Roy Williams and his wife Joyce of Fairmont and Jack Williams and his wife Amelia of Core; ten grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Lettie Lee Toothman of Fairmont and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, Raymond was preceded in death by two sons in infancy; a step daughter, Patricia Morrison; a brother, Rev. Charles Roderick and two sisters, Elouise Costello and Virginia Wolfe. Friends and family will be received at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, Fairmont on Monday 5pm to 8pm, Tuesday from 1pm to 8pm and on Wednesday 11am to 1pm. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 1pm with Pastor Orville Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Janes Memorial Cemetery. Raymond was the sweetest man. He and his wife come to Taylor Co. Senior Center on Tuesday and Thursday to play bingo. We will miss him dearly. Rest in the arms of JESUS dear one. Prayers for comfort to his love ones. Shari Howdyshell
