I played with Ray for a little over a decade. It was a short time, but, it was also the time of my greatest musical growth. Ray had a lot to do with that. He was very kind and generous man and I miss him.

I met Ray when he taught band at Mark Twain. I was in 5th grade, 1965. Fond memories of his teaching style and kindness. A great man. My condolences.

I graduated SUHS 1968. Mr. Rom never failed to have a smile on his face. He always had a hi for the kids. I also knew him from growing up in Immanuel Lutheran church in Silverton. My condolences to your famiky.
