Raymond Earl Sage, 76, passed away March 30, 2022 at Cleveland Health Care Center in Cleveland, Texas from late-stage Parkinson's disease.
A memorial services celebrating Raymond's life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, June 18th, at Lindley-Robertson-Holt Funeral Home with Rev. C. McAllister "Mac" Vaughn officiating. Graveside services were held earlier in Oakland Cemetery.
Raymond was born March 15, 1946 in Navasota to Joseph and Eva Dragon Sage. During his career, Raymond worked for many years at Tex-Fan Air Conditioning C. in Houston. Lastly working for STP Nuclear Power Plant in Bay City as a nuclear Security Officer. Raymond worked hard and was proud of his accomplishments.
Raymond was known to all who met him for his love of Elvis and his joking nature. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing, boating, fishing, traveling, casinos, food, fast cars, jewelry, western movies and gospel shows. Throughout the years Raymond had several pets he dearly loved such as Dallas, King, Banjo and Presley. The last few years, while living in a memory care home, some of his happiest days was when his grandaughter, Kathryn, visited bringing her dog to visit.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Louise Polk Sage.
As dad, grandfather, friend, family member you were loved and are missed. May your body, mind and soul be eternally in rest and in a heavenly peace.
