condolences to the family. Lots of memories. Wish we could have made it to the funeral.

Ray was a softly spoken gentle soul...always liked him...am sorry to see hm go.

My memories of Ray are as my sister's boss at Darboy Fried Chicken. He was always kind and friendly when we would stop in to visit. The kindness he showed to my family when our father passed away stands out. We had chicken and sides to eat for days and days!! My sister and her co-workers there loved Ray, and I will always have fond memories of him. Rest well, Ray.

When the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. Sending love and condolences to all the Salm family. Rest in Peace Ray!

Sending hearfelt condolences to the whole Salm family. I worked at Darboy Fried Chicken during the late 1980s and early 1990s, during high school and whenever I was home from college. That place was such an important part of my life, where I learned lots of life lessons and made forever friends. Ray was a complicated guy and a kind, generous boss. When my dad died unexpectedly in 1990, Ray sent my large family enough food to keep us all fed for a couple days. I will never forget his kindness...
