Not sure what to say?

RIP Dr. Shrader and thank you for all you have done.

Dr. Shrader was very kind and supportive when I was a graduate student at UT and later as a young professor. I'll certainly miss him

I was a colleague of Ray's in the UT Psychology department and knew him since 1967. He was one of the first faculty members to reach out to us socially when Ray and Liz invited us to play doubles tennis at the old Racket Club. I still remember that wonderful day.

One of my very favorite people who gave my children unimaginable experiences. Bees Claiborne

Ray was a wonderful man. He will be missed by many!

I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Shrader in his 89th year on this earth and I am so grateful that I did. To anyone who has met him will understand the great people and joys that this world presents us. While my impact on his life may have been small the impact he had on me will last forever.A man that lived life with great spirit and tenacity that few men may rival. The kind of person you wanted around.Thoughts and prayers to Mrs.Shrader and family for the great joy and respect of such a...

I met Ray when I went to CISV national meeting where I presented our desire to establish CISV Chapter in California. he was always supportive and gave me worthwhile advice during our Chapter's inception. I saw Ray's passion each time there was a discussion of issues on CISV during USA's board meeting. As founder of Smokey Mountain Chapter, he has touched thousands of people. This world is a better place because of his 92 years as world citizen!

I first met Ray at the CISV International Board Meeting in Trento, Italy, in 1977, where I came as a past Villager and member of the Dutch delegation. Ray was an instant role model for me and many younger CISVers, wise, gentle, and perseverant. In 1981 I succeeded Ray as the chair of CISV's International Research Committee, some very big shoes to fill! We've been in touch less frequently than I would have liked, even after I moved to the States in 1986, but we did reconnect at National...

Ray was such an inspiration to those of us who followed him in CISV. He was in the right places at the right time to serve the organization and help form a firm foundation for generations to come. While he will be missed, Ray will never be forgotten by his CISV family all over the world.
