Read MoreUncle Ray was a great guy! Always a smile and sometimes a joke to tell too. I remember holiday visits at the house and couple of summer trips to the cottage. He was always interested in what sport or activity I was involved in while growing up. And boy, did he love to talk Michigan State Spartans. He has left us with many great memories to hold onto.

Ray and Lois were wonderful volunteers for the Newaygo County 4-H Program. They were supporters of the HRH (Handicapped Riding Horseback) group. Ray served as treasurer for many years. He kept the program on track.
