Raymond Smolen

My Uncle Raymond was also called "Tootsie" by our Grandmother Mary. He also would take care of his mother in her later years. Thank you Uncle Ray.

Ray was a good friend to me as I met him later in life. A good golfing buddy and fun to be with. After Florence passed he would stop by often with his dogs.I missed him after the move and a friend and I visited him often and going to lunch @ Applebees .In the last days I called every day to set up a meeting. Could not get him and found out that he passed away. Very sad at his loss.

Ray and Flo were good friends and fun to be with. Learned to know them in the last 15 or so years. Ray was often so positive and his faith was strong. After the passing of Flo he and his dogs would often stop by for a visit. Men’s breakfast at the Coffee Cup were special. After his move across town Joe and Rudy took him to Applebees every month. The last time about 5 weeks ago, he was moving slow. But we didn’t think about not seeing him again.Rest In Peace Ray. We already miss you God...

So sorry for your loss. I worked at the Bank with Ray--he was such a gentleman and a good Christian man. It was a pleasure to work with him.
