Not sure what to say?

Ray and I were friends for more than 30 years and he was the Godfather of my daughter Kirsten. I loved him and will miss him very much.

Ray and I went all the way through school together. He was so talented, smart and fun. We were both in the HS band, and Ray stood taller and straighter than most. To a very special person, rest in peace and know that you are greatly missed.

Ray is my second cousin, through my mother Carole Sowell Hall. Although through the years we did not spend much time together, family visits and unfortunately funerals,I knew Ray to be a kind person like his parents. Full of life and experiences to share. Loving and devoted to his friends and final years of his parents. He had an open door and invited me every time we met for a visit. I am saddened to learn of his passing but know he is with Raymond and Katie. My condolences.

Ray, you walked to a different drummer....one of your very own..... and we admired you for it. You will be sincerely missed in your beloved neighborhood of South Marsh in Garden City. We loved and admired you and your presence will be greatly missed. Goodby, dear friend.

Read of his passing. Our deepest sympathy. Mary Sowell Coleman and Carole Sowell Hall
