Mary and I reminisce often about our former neighbors Bertie and Ray. It´s usually about something funny or kind that one or the other said or did. Whenever I hear a reference to the Greatest Generation, I think of them. People like Bertie and Ray lived through the Great Depression and WW II and then moved on with their lives building careers, families and communities. I miss them both but do so always with that special type of remembrance connected to having had a friendship with the...

Ray was the best neighbor a guy like me could ask for.I will miss him forever and always.

In our lives very few special people come along...Ray and Bertie were apart of those few...We will never forget all the wonderful times we spent together...the laughter and true friendship...Dan and I are sorry we could not be there with all of you...please know that you are in out hearts and minds...Friendship is forever and these two beautiful people are forever...we are very sorry to her of Papa's passing...our sympathies...

My deepest sympathy to the family.
I met Ray at Coppus Engineering in the 1970's and we bonded as warriors of the Pacific campaign during WW 2.
I will miss his friendship.

Nature
