Raymond Smith Stemley, a self- employed carpenter, departed this life on Monday, June 3, 2013. Beloved companion of Rosie Johnson. Loving father of Nadia Favors Brock and Quishandra Walker. Son of the late Eloise Stemley and Raymond McGee, Jr. Grandson of the late Arthur Stemley and Raymond McGee, Sr. Brother of Frank Stemley, Sr., Julia Stemley Nicks and Evelyn Stemley Rubbins. Uncle of the late Bobby Stemley and Rueshawn Stemley. Brother-in-law of the late Joel F. Stemley; also survived by 3 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 58 years, a native and resident of New Orleans, La.
Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and member of Old Fashion Baptist church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St., Gretna, La. on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 10:00a.m.
Pastor Preston Lemon, officiating
Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
Interment: Will be private.
