Not sure what to say?

Strez, you were a mentor and friend. I often have you in my mind as I continue to teach/ coach. I value very much the guidance you gave to me. You are truly missed.

Kim, Ian and Christine. You all don't know what Strez meant to me. Mame you know. He was more then a coach, more then a teacher, more then a friend. I'm struggling to find the words. I was a student, a player and a coach with someone who I looked up to as a person who would not take anything but the best of you. He was a man that could get the best out of you even when you thought you had nothing left to give, but he would do it in a way that you wouldn't even know he was doing it. I have so...

Strez

You were a true stud on the football field . I never forgot you and I’ll always remember you!
Rest In Peace . Best Nez

Mr. Strez is the reason I'm a history teacher. I didn't truly love and history until 11th grade World Cultures. It was my favorite class throughout all my years at THS. We read Orwell's "Animal Farm" and studied the Russian Revolution. We learned about Israel & Palestine and the deeply routed conflict between the two. I remember when a couple friends & I were doing research for our informative speechs in 11th grade English, Mr. Strez met us at the Steele Memorial Library in Elmira to show us...

Strez, God Bless you. I thank you for the times we spent together coaching. You were a great influence on my life. R.I.P. my friend.

Great guy...many amazing memories... From football to fly fishing...last time I talked to him was fishing Pine Creek... " Strez, keep your fly line tight........" You will be missed.......Bill

STREZ was a good friend to my brother and now I am sure they are together talking football....I am so sorry Cricket.....he was a great guy and I am so glad to have known him.

I had Mr. Strez as a history teacher in Jr High., history wasn't my fave class., but he was a great teacher who made you want to learn. Fly high my friend.

We will miss Mark tremendously and are so grateful for the friendship, endless laughter and and years of memories we have shared with Mark and Cricket. We love you both and out hearts are broken. Kate and Jacki
