Not sure what to say?

Ray and I were the best of friends from grade school. He was in my wedding and during our single days we were out every night. I was very sad when I heard of his passing. Condolences to Cathy.

Got to know Ray pretty well during my time at WYOU-TV. He was our staff announcer for many years. His versatility, range and smooth voice made him a tremendous asset. God bless this kind and gentle man and his family.

I extend my deepest condolences to the family of Ray Toro. I had the pleasure of working with Ray at WARM. He had the perfect radio voice. Above all, he was a gentleman with a wonderful personality. May he rest in God's peace.

Ray was a good friend and super talent. I'll always remember him and the great times at WARM. R.I.P. my friend.

I will always remember him professionally as a radio legend with that golden voice. Personally, I will think of him fondly as a kind neighbor and humble gentleman.

Aunt Cathy, I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Ray. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you, Debbie

Ray and I go all the way back to grade school at the Fort Pittston School. Ray and I were in the High School Band. Ray played clarinet for a while and then after graduation took up the bass. He was able to get that bass into his little Studebaker Lark and play gigs up and down the valley and even north to Binghamton. During the mid and early sixties we went out every night to our favorite bars. Ray introduced me to the music of the Four Freshmen, for which I am very grateful because I am...

Had the pleasure of working with Ray at WARM. Ray was a true professional broadcaster with a great but subtle sense of humor. Good times with the WARM Softball Softees and his post game reports as "Coward Hosell." Also his Happy Birthday recording as Frankie Darnell. Prayers for Ray and his family. R.I.P. my friend.

Sorry for your loss to you and your family.
